https://amzn.to/41eJMrK ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I really enjoyed this book! The story was different from what I usually read. I might be a little naive, but I was totally caught off guard when the killer’s identity was revealed. There were so many characters, and each one played an important part.

I have to say, the intimate scenes between Tate and Wren felt a bit odd, especially that bedroom scene. But I liked how their relationship was handled overall. Throughout the book, I was hoping it wouldn’t turn into a “I’m dating a ghost” kind of thing, and I’m happy to say it didn’t. I felt for Tate because you could see how he was slowly falling in love with Wren. We all knew that something real couldn’t really come from their relationship unless he decided to meet her in the afterlife right away.
I honestly think this is a must-read, and I highly recommend it! It was so captivating and kept me hooked until the very end. I really liked this book, and I think you will too. 😊
My favorite quote came from Sylvia. It’s when Tate was remembering how she always saw beauty in everything. Sylvia told him, “…if I was willing to really see the world around us, not simply look, then I, too, might experience the transcendent…” I totally agree with that. I think people should slow down and truly appreciate the small wonders around us. Some might say it’s childish, but I don’t think so. Why should we lose that childlike wonder? It makes the world seem more beautiful. 🌸
The ending was really good. As much as I wanted Nash to get what he deserved, Tate made a strong case against it. Oscar was about to make that place his home, and it would be smart not to make enemies in such a small town. Just like Wren said, even when she made mistakes as a kid, the whole town remembered and still judged her for it as an adult. You have to pick your battles carefully and think about what’s best for everyone involved.
